We’ve got a LOT of information to share about our Brave Event on Friday, so we thought a FAQ blog would be helpful! Take a read through and comment with any questions we may have missed!
1. Who should attend Brave?
Brave is open to all women, ages 16 and up! You don’t have to attend Lifegate Church in order to go to Brave; in fact, it is the perfect event to invite all of your friends to attend, because it is a fun-filled night that gives women a non-threatening opportunity to hear about Jesus.
2. What is the Brave event?
The theme of the night is Stand Steady. We will focus on how women should stand together, and give each other courage to move into the unknown, while understanding that Christ propels us to bravely move into what He has for us! We have two special guests: Comedian Jason Earls and Guest Speaker Blynda Lane from Gateway Church. Plus, there will be worship with Ryan and Charity Long, a special performance by Nebraska Dance, and an amazing After Party.

3. How much do tickets cost?
The cost is $30 when you register online here and pay with your credit card, or it is $35 at the door! The cost covers the whole evening, including the After Party with appetizers and desserts! You can purchase multiple tickets online for friends. (We do ask that you register for a myLifegate account for the security of your personal information, but don’t worry. We will never share your information or bother you with emails unless you specifically request it!)
Also, bring some extra cash!! We will have merchandise available with NEW BRAVE T-SHIRTS, Charity Long CDs, and amazing products from charitable vendors like Sak Saum and Noonday as well as our featured speakers!

4. When is the Brave event?
The event is March 13, 2015, which is this coming Friday! Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the event starting at 7:00 p.m. The after party ends at midnight.
6. Where do I park? What entrance do I use?
Use Event Parking on the north side of the hotel, and come in the Convention Center Entrance! There will be golf carts available for those with accessibility needs – just come in the Main Entrance facing 72nd street!
7. Can I stay overnight at a discount?
If you would like to stay at the hotel that weekend, be sure to mention Lifegate Church to receive your discounted rate. The room and Coco Key rates are as follows:
Regular Room: $89/night
Suite (size for a family): $129/night
Weekend Coco Key pass for registered hotel guests: $10*
Saturday Coco Key pass for Brave attendee who is not a hotel guest: $15*

You can book your hotel room up until March 13th, but plan ahead, if you can! We have a limited number of rooms reserved!
8. Should I plan to stay for the After Party?
YES! This year’s After Party is taking it to the next level! Our After Party will include delicious refreshments, 3 photo booths, a DJ and dancing, and game stations for gathering and just hanging out! AND it is during our After Party that most of our fabulous giveaways will take place! It is truly going to be a lot of fun!
9. Why should I attend Brave?
Brave is a wonderful opportunity for a girls’ night out! The night includes worship, a dance performance, a guest speaker, a comedian, and an after party with food and fun. Talk about making the most of a night out! And, this is the only Brave event until next spring, so you don’t want to miss out!
