Do not worry. He loves you.

When reading todays Jesus Calling text, I felt I needed to share it with each of you. This book is amazing and God is really using it to speak to me and a lot of the people in my life. I hope that you will pick up the book and make it a part of your daily routine. I hope that these words will encourage you as they did to me. Here is todays excerpt:

Do NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW! This is not a suggestion but a command. I divided time into days and nights so that you would have manageable potions of life to handle. My grace is sufficient for you, but its sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which I never intended you to carry.

Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in your brain, but trusting Me brings you directly into My Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy My Presence continually by trusting Me at all times.

Matthew 6:34 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Psalm 62:8 NKJV Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah

Please listen to this song and allow God to speak to your heart. He truly loves you. Sometimes it is hard for us to imagine. We may have never had a real encounter with His love or it has been a long time. There are glimpses of His love on Earth. A perfect love, that loves us the exact way we are – that can be hard to grasp.
