Strengthening Yourself in the LORD
I loved hearing about how David strengthened himself in the LORD. Just like us, his life was full of victories and defeats, joys and sorrows, giants and triumphs. He spent much time praising God for his goodness and crying out to him for his mercy. He was just a person who relied on God for strength. However, David did not wait until his worst day to make himself strong. It is something that needs to happen daily so when those days come we are ready.
We can strengthen ourselves in the LORD by:
2. Connecting to the Lord in Prayer – Don’t measure time, measure encounter.
3. Fellowship – is the exchange of life.
4. Being Thankful – is God’s will. I Thes. 5:18 In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Food Schedule for 2/14 includes tables 6-10. We are always getting requests for healthy foods like fruits, vegetables and casseroles. Please bring food by 9am.
*Remember, next week is Valentine’s Day, we are writing encouraging notes to our Lifegate Kids teachers.
